Abu Ishti

Co-Founder

Ishti is a Master of Public Policy (MPP) graduate from Duke University and holds a bachelor's degree from IBA, University of Dhaka. He has over five years of professional experience in banking and consulting. While pursuing his MPP, Ishti has worked at the Admissions Office of Duke Sanford School of Public Policy, where he has played a crucial role in mentoring and guiding future leaders in business and policy through the graduate school application process. Committed to empowering the next generation, Ishti aims to continue to coach undergraduates and professionals worldwide, helping them navigate their career paths and make informed decisions about their futures.

Tasnim Farah Zaman (Aurni)

Co-Founder

Aurni is an MBA graduate from Duke University, North Carolina, USA, and holds a degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. With five years of experience in the consumer goods industry, she has excelled as an entrepreneur, HR, and finance professional. Aurni founded Newton’s Archive, Bangladesh’s first scented candle manufacturing company, and has held various roles at Unilever and PepsiCo. Aurni is passionate about easing the application process for others and increasing Bangladeshi representation in higher education by providing essential guidance and support.

Shuprovo Arko

Advisor

Shuprovo Arko is a development practitioner and creative director with experience in leading communication programs for different contexts, clients and climates. Arko works as a Communications and Knowledge Management Consultant for the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy (ENB) Global Practice at the World Bank, currently leading the Environment portfolio in strategic communications for the Dhaka office. Prior to this, he worked as the Communications and Outreach Lead for The Asia Foundation, building and coordinating a coalition for upskilling and alternative livelihood development for women garment workers. He completed his bachelor’s degree from IBA, University of Dhaka and has a Master's degree in Development Studies from BRAC University.

Marketing and Client Relationship Manager

Sadia Islam is currently working as the Marketing and Client Relationship Manager at mapd while pursuing her Bachelors in Business Administration degree at the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University. She has experience in working with e-commerce businesses as the Social Media Manager and has teaching experience in Mentors. She thrives to bring a creative yet strategic approach and create value through effective communication and a deep understanding of client needs.
